What is the NCLEX-RN Examination?

The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is a standardized test for nursing licensure in the United States, Canada, and Australia, launched in 1982, 2015, and 2020, respectively. There are two types of NCLEX exams: the NCLEX-RN for registered nurses and the NCLEX-PN for vocational/practical nurses.

The NCLEX is required for obtaining a nursing license and is administered in a computerized adaptive testing (CAT) format. The exam is conducted by Pearson VUE at their Pearson Professional Centers (PPC). Questions are selected based on your responses to previous ones, assessing your critical thinking and nursing care decision-making abilities.

ACME offers comprehensive NCLEX-RN classes and expert documentation guidance to help you pass with confidence.

NCLEX-RN Exam Requirements:

  1. Nursing Degree (Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s)
